Goptica SM301: Choice for Near-Infrared/Mid-Infrared Spectroscopy Applications
The SM301/SM301-EX is a versatile, high-performance PbS/PbSe array spectrometer. Its active components include a TE cooler and a 256-element PbS/PbSe detector element array. With the included SM32Pro - Windows-based analysis software, the unit can be easily operated for research applications. The system is highly suitable for spectral applications in the 1.0 to 3.0 micron (PbS) or 1.5 to 5.0 micron (PbSe) region.
The SM301/SM301-EX includes thermoelectric cooling to ensure long-term operational stability. The SM301/SM301-EX employs a multiplexed PbS/PbSe array as its NIR detection element. The array is cooled, with a temperature stabilized around -10°C, ensuring long-term operational stability. Therefore, the dark signal can be periodically and automatically measured and subtracted by the built-in electronic device.
Compared to traditional scanning near-infrared spectrometers, the SM301/SM301-EX offers the advantage of multi-channel detection, which reduces measurement time and improves the signal-to-noise ratio. The SM301/SM301-EX can operate at a readout rate of 2MHz or faster, enabling rapid measurements and averaging operations to be performed in a short time. The newly upgraded SM301 and SM301-EX provide an automatic shutter function, which can automatically create a dark environment. Users can set 0% transmission (dark scan) without blocking any input light.
