Deep Cooling Temperature Control MAX Series CMOS Cameras

  • The MAX camera is equipped with Sony Exmor CMOS or GSENSE series high-performance large pixel or full frame image sensors. In response to the inherent thermal noise of the sensors, an efficient cooling module is specially designed to reduce the operating temperature of the camera sensors by up to 40 degrees below ambient temperature. Aiming at the common phenomenon of low-temperature fogging on the surface of sensors, an anti fogging structure has been designed to ensure that the sensor surface will not fog under low temperature conditions. The MAX series, a unique technology, greatly reduces image noise and ensures the acquisition of high-quality images; The video and image data transmission of MAX series cameras is achieved through the USB 3.0 fast transfer protocol interface for fast preview.

    The temperature of MAX series camera sensors can be controlled through software to ensure the highest possible photoelectric conversion quantum efficiency under low video or image noise (Sony Exmor CMOS or GSENSE series high-performance image sensors also have significantly reduced quantum efficiency at particularly low temperatures, so temperature controllability is quite important).

    The MAX series cameras support free operation or trigger operation mode, and can capture single or multiple images at once. Integrated with highly stable industrial grade IO modules, it can synchronize with multiple external devices or work synchronously with multiple cameras.

    The MAX series cameras come with ToupView/ToupLite advanced image processing software to control the camera and process captured images.

    External dimensions

    Schematic diagram of the external dimensions of MAX series cameras. The camera housing is made of hard aluminum alloy through CNC precision machining. The front end of the camera sensor is equipped with high-quality IR-CUT or double-sided AR protective glass, which mainly filters out infrared light waves in imaging and protects the camera sensor chip.

    Compared to other brands of cameras, the TE cooled camera from Gewu Optics has good sealing performance. After the cooling fan of the camera is dampened, there will be no image blur caused by fan shaking.
