Cooling Temperature Control CTR3CMOS Series

  • The CTR3CMOS series cameras are equipped with high-performance image sensors such as Sony Exmor CMOS. In response to the inherent thermal noise of the sensors, a reasonable cooling module has been specially designed to ensure that the camera sensors operate at a specified temperature. In response to the phenomenon of low-temperature fogging, an anti fogging structure has been designed to ensure that the sensor surface does not fog under low temperature conditions. The unique technology of CTR3CMOS series cameras greatly reduces image noise, ensuring the acquisition of image quality and stable operation of the camera;

    The temperature of the CTR3CMOS series camera sensors can be controlled through software to ensure the highest possible photoelectric conversion quantum efficiency under low video or image noise (high-performance image sensors such as Sony Exmor CMOS also have significantly reduced quantum efficiency at particularly low temperatures, so temperature controllability is quite important).

    Sensor control and video data transmission are achieved through USB3.0/GigE fast transfer protocol interface for fast preview and capture.

    The CTR3CMOS series cameras come with ToupView advanced image processing software to control the camera and process captured images.

    CTR3CMOS series cameras support trigger operation mode: software triggered, supports capturing single or multiple images at once; Supports long-term exposure mode, up to a maximum of 5 minutes.

    External dimensions

    Schematic diagram of the external dimensions of CTR3CMOS series cameras. The camera housing is made of hard aluminum alloy through CNC precision machining, with a compact structure that is easy to integrate. The front end of the camera sensor is equipped with high-quality IR-CUT or double-sided AR protective glass, which mainly filters out infrared light waves in imaging and protects the camera sensor.

    Compared to other brands of cameras, the TE cooled camera from Gewu Optics has good sealing performance. After the cooling fan of the camera is dampened, there will be no image blur caused by fan shaking.
