UHCCD Series CCD Cameras

  • The UHCCD series cameras are ultra-high performance USB2.0 CCD cameras. Adopting Sony's ultra-high performance HAD CCD sensor.

    The HAD sensor used in the UHCCD series cameras is a unique SONY structure with a positive hole accumulation layer added to the surface of an N-type substrate, P-type, N+2 polarizer. Due to this positive pore accumulation layer, the dark current on the sensor surface is greatly reduced. Sony's HAD technology refers to the design of vertical tunnels on N-type substrates that allow electrons to pass through, resulting in increased aperture ratio, in other words, improved sensitivity. In the early 1980s, Sony used it in variable speed electronic shutter products to capture clear images of fast-moving objects.

    The UHCCD series cameras use USB 2.0 as the data transmission interface.

    The UHCCD series cameras are equipped with advanced video and image processing software ToupView, which provides multi platform SDKs such as Windows/Linux/OSX and supports native C/C++, C #/VB.net, Directshow, Twain control API.

    Schematic diagram of the external dimensions of UHCCD series USB2.0 C interface CCD camera. The camera housing is made of hard aluminum alloy CNC machined. The front end of the camera sensor is equipped with high-quality IR-CUT or dual AR film, which mainly filters out infrared light waves in imaging while protecting the camera sensor. Compared to other brands of cameras, the camera from Gewu Optics has no moving parts to ensure that the camera is sturdy, reliable, and durable, and there is no imaging blur caused by shaking of moving parts.
